1. Scope
NFTwidge is operated by ZXBT LLC ("ZXBT," "NFTwidge," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the NFTwidge iPhone app, widgets, Live Activities, website, and related application programming interfaces (together, the "Service").
Public blockchain records are public by design. A wallet address can be pseudonymous, but it may still be associated with a person through public or third-party information.
2. Information we handle
Information you provide
- A public Ethereum or Solana wallet address that you enter, paste, or select.
- An ENS name or other supported public alias that you ask the Service to resolve.
- Messages and technical details you choose to include when contacting support.
Public NFT and blockchain information
We retrieve public asset identifiers, collection information, token metadata, ownership data, and artwork URLs associated with the public address. This information comes from blockchains, NFT data providers, metadata servers, content-delivery networks, and decentralized content networks.
Information stored on your device
The app may store public wallet addresses, display aliases, local gallery and wallet-profile files, selected NFT details, artwork and HTTP caches, hidden-item preferences, widget settings and snapshots, and Live Activity state on your device and in the app's shared container so its displays can work.
Basic network and service data
When the app or website contacts a server, infrastructure providers may process standard request information such as IP address, date and time, request path, response status, and device or browser information. We do not include an advertising SDK or cross-app tracking SDK in the launch version.
At launch, the NFTwidge website does not set NFTwidge analytics or advertising cookies. Hosting and network providers may still process standard request data as described below.
3. How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- Resolve a public wallet and retrieve its image-backed NFTs.
- Display selected artwork in the app and Home Screen widgets, and start or replace a time-limited Live Activity when you select artwork on a supported device.
- Remember app preferences and locally saved wallet entries.
- Operate, secure, debug, and improve the Service.
- Respond to support messages and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use information from the Service for cross-context behavioral advertising.
NFTwidge does not send artwork to a generative-AI provider. The app creates display-sized renditions on device using proportional scaling and center-cropping; it does not alter the source asset file or onchain metadata.
4. When information is sent to others
We use service providers to operate the Service. Depending on the chain and asset, a public address, ENS name or resolved address, asset identifier, IP address, and standard request metadata may be processed by:
- Blockchain, naming, and NFT data infrastructure providers, including Alchemy, Helius, and PublicNode.
- Website and API hosting, networking, and security providers, including Vercel.
- The metadata, image, Arweave, or content-delivery host associated with an NFT, and public IPFS gateway operators selected by NFTwidge, including Pinata, IPFS.io, and NFT.Storage.
We evaluate the services NFTwidge selects and take reasonable steps to use
providers with published privacy and security commitments. NFT metadata and
direct artwork hosts identified by public blockchain records are independent
third parties that we do not select or control. When a record uses an
ipfs:// address instead of a web host, NFTwidge selects a public
IPFS gateway to retrieve that content. Direct hosts and gateway operators
handle requests under their own terms and privacy policies.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect users or the Service, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.
5. Storage and retention
Saved wallets, local gallery and profile files, hidden-item preferences, artwork and HTTP caches, widget snapshots, and display settings remain on your device until you remove them, clear local data in the app, or uninstall the app. The Clear local cache control also ends active NFTwidge Live Activity state on that device.
Our API does not create an NFTwidge account database and does not intentionally log request bodies. It may keep a discovery response in server memory for up to 30 seconds to reduce duplicate provider requests. Vercel may retain standard runtime logs, including network and request details, for up to 30 days under the active hosting plan. NFTwidge does not separately export those logs at launch.
Alchemy and Helius may retain public wallet queries and standard network information under their own policies. Helius states that automatically collected RPC-method information may be retained for up to 20 weeks and describes longer retention for some account or legal records. Metadata, image, Arweave, content-delivery, and public IPFS gateway operators set their own retention periods. NFTwidge does not control those independent hosts or operators.
We retain support correspondence for up to 24 months after the last interaction, unless a longer period is reasonably required for security, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.
6. Your choices
- Remove a saved wallet or use Clear local cache to remove saved addresses and aliases, local gallery and profile files, hidden-item preferences, artwork and HTTP caches, widget snapshots, and active NFTwidge Live Activity state on that device.
- End an active NFTwidge Live Activity from the app or iOS.
- Choose not to provide a public wallet address, although wallet discovery will not work without one.
- Contact us to ask a privacy question or request action regarding support information you previously sent us.
Because blockchain records are public and maintained by independent networks, NFTwidge cannot edit or delete information recorded on a blockchain.
7. Security and international processing
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect the Service. No transmission or storage method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate mechanisms for international data processing.
8. Children
NFTwidge is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through support, contact us so we can review and address it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Service changes. We will post the updated version here and revise the effective date. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice where required.
