1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how NFTwidge ("NFTwidge," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use the NFTwidge iPhone app, widgets, Live Activities, website, and related application programming interfaces (together, the "Service").
Public blockchain records are public by design. A wallet address can be pseudonymous, but it may still be associated with a person through public or third-party information.
2. Information we handle
Information you provide
- A public Ethereum or Solana wallet address that you enter, paste, or select.
- An ENS name or other supported public alias that you ask the Service to resolve.
- Messages and technical details you choose to include when contacting support.
Public NFT and blockchain information
We retrieve public asset identifiers, collection information, token metadata, ownership data, and artwork URLs associated with the public address. This information comes from blockchains, NFT data providers, metadata servers, content-delivery networks, and decentralized content networks.
Information stored on your device
The app may store public wallet addresses, display aliases, selected NFT details, artwork caches, widget preferences, and Live Activity state on your device and in the app's shared container so its widgets can work.
Basic network and service data
When the app or website contacts a server, infrastructure providers may process standard request information such as IP address, date and time, request path, response status, and device or browser information. We do not include an advertising SDK or cross-app tracking SDK in the launch version.
3. How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- Resolve a public wallet and retrieve its image-backed NFTs.
- Display selected artwork in the app, Home Screen widgets, and a user-started Live Activity.
- Remember app preferences and locally saved wallet entries.
- Operate, secure, debug, and improve the Service.
- Respond to support messages and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use information from the Service for cross-context behavioral advertising.
4. When information is sent to others
We use service providers to operate the Service. Depending on the chain and asset, a public address or asset identifier may be sent to:
- Blockchain and NFT data infrastructure providers, including Alchemy and Helius.
- Website and API hosting, networking, and security providers.
- The metadata, image, IPFS, Arweave, or content-delivery host associated with an NFT.
These providers handle information under their own terms and privacy policies. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect users or the Service, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.
5. Storage and retention
Saved wallets, artwork caches, and display settings remain on your device until you remove them, clear local data in the app, or uninstall the app. Widget and Live Activity data may remain in the app's shared container until cleared by the app or operating system.
Our API is designed to process wallet discovery requests without creating an NFTwidge account database. Hosting and data-provider logs may be retained for security, reliability, fraud prevention, or legal purposes under the applicable provider's retention practices.
Support correspondence is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to answer the request, maintain support records, and meet legal obligations.
6. Your choices
- Remove a saved wallet or use the app's local-data controls to delete saved addresses, selected artwork, and caches.
- End an active NFTwidge Live Activity from the app or iOS.
- Choose not to provide a public wallet address, although wallet discovery will not work without one.
- Contact us to ask a privacy question or request action regarding support information you previously sent us.
Because blockchain records are public and maintained by independent networks, NFTwidge cannot edit or delete information recorded on a blockchain.
7. Security and international processing
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect the Service. No transmission or storage method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate mechanisms for international data processing.
8. Children
NFTwidge is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through support, contact us so we can review and address it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Service changes. We will post the updated version here and revise the effective date. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice where required.
